Monthly Hall Bookings

Brinsley Parish Council has clean and safe facilities which are available to hire at an hourly rate for children's parties, events, wedding receptions, meetings, classes and social events.   The parish hall floor has undergone a refurbishment to provide an excellent maple timber surface suitable for dancing, badminton and other activities.

 

The main hall is available to hire with the kitchen, which has facilities for refreshments, a meeting room is available separately or with the hall, a bowls pavilion (48' x 12) available with a kitchen, crockery, glass and cutlery can be hired for all the premises.

 

A stage with optional extension is also available at an additional cost.  A P.A. system is installed for use and disco lighting.

Football and other sports can be played on the ground for a a nominal fee.

 

The bowling green and pavilion is open from early May to September each year and a cafe is open during the same period within the bowling pavilion.

 

Outside, there is a multi-gym area, children's recreational playground and an outdoor gym facility.

 

The hall is booked by groups as follows:-

 

Monday Movement for All, Women's Fellowship, Bodyblast, Art Class, East Midlands Carers Trust, Pilates, Yoga (evening)

Tuesday Retired Persons' Club, Weight Watchers, Badminton, Eastwood Writers Group & Children's Art and Adult Art Class, Yoga (evening)

Wednesday Music and Movement, Scouts, Council Meetings the second Wednesday of every month excluding August; committees by notification.

Thursday Children's Playgroup, Badminton, Dog Training, Pilates

Friday Art Group, Bridge Club, Dog Training and Craft Club

Saturday Street Dance, Line Dancing, weekly Carers Trust East Midlands

Sundays Karate, Junior Football (Ilkeston FC U14s & U15s)

 

There are many opportunities during the week to hire the premises. Please contact staff for full information.

The Parish Hall starts at £12.00 per hour rising up to £16.50 per hour after 4 p.m. and weekend

Meeting Room £9.60 per hour day, evening or weekend

Pavilion £9.00 per hour day, evening or weekend

Whole premises available through Council

Subsidies available for registered charities at 25% of total cost

Football matches £41.00 senior and £21.00 Junior matches
